The fully automatic strapping machine is designed for the vertical strapping of coils around the circumference.
With its eye horizontal parallel to the transport direction the coil is loaded and centred in the area of the strapping machine by the conveyor system.
The bottom lance moves forward and closes the strap channel around the coil. The strap is fed-in and the side mounted head moves towards the coil for sealing.
For the application of multiple straps the coil is either positioned by the conveyor system (stationary machine) or the strapping machine itself travels to the preset positions (moveable machine). For the simultaneous application of two straps a twin-head version is available.
TITAN provides these strapping machines with different heads for different joint types and strap qualities.
In addition, the application of coil protectors can be integrated in the strapping process. Also, a coil marking device or a label applicator can be installed.
